Four rates of PP 199 and two standards (Omite 30WP and Kelthane 4MF) were applied to mature lemon trees in this test on the Yuma mesa on April 27, 1976. Three trees were sprayed with each rate of PP 199 and the standards. The applications were made with a ground sprayer equipped with a pistol-type handgun at a rate of approximately 4 gallons of spray per tree simulating thorough coverage (TC) or to the point of runoff.
