Insecticides were applied dilute with a Bean, 35 gallon per minute sprayer operating at 540 psi to 20 year old Rome trees. Trees were sprayed to run-off. The treatments were made on single trees and replicated in random fashion 5 times. Applications were made 5 times on the following dates: May 24, June 9 & 28, July 19 and August 11. Other materials used during the season were: Oil + Difolatan, Polyram, Karathane, Sulfur and Captan.
