Three pouron insecticides were applied to 6 farm flocks of sheep for sheep ked control. Each flock was treated once between June 9 and June 24, after all ewes had been shorn. Each animal in the flock was weighed prior to treatment. Sheep ked population densities were determined in the treated and 1 untreated flocks by making whole body counts of adult keds on 5 lambs and 5 ewes immediately preceding and 6 wk following treatment.
