Sprays were applied to mature trees near Douglas, MI (Block—E) at a rate of 300 gal/acre with an FMC 1029 handgun sprayer. Treatments were arranged in a completely randomized design of single trees replicated 4 times. Treatments were applied on 16 Jul. Dodine, Bravo, and Bayleton were applied separately to all treatments. Evaluations were made on 16, 20, and 31 Jul by counting motile leafhopper stages on the end 4 leaves of 25 terminals per tree (100 terminals per treatment).
