This test was conducted in an 11-yr-old orchard with under-tree irrigation. The experimental design was randomized complete block with 6 treatments and 4 replications. The blocking factor was pretreatment aphid density on 23 Jul. Experimental units were single trees. Sample units were the most heavily infested leaf on each of 3 tagged terminals/tree. Treatments were applied on 26 Jul. Per-acre rates were based on a dilute application of 400 gal/acre applied to the point of drip with a handgun operated at 300 psi. Posttreatment counts were taken at 5 h, 72 h, 1 wk and weekly thereafter.
