This test was conducted in a 7-yr-old orchard with under-tree irrigation. Materials were applied on 9 Aug to the point of drip with a handgun sprayer operated at 400-500 psi. Control trees were left unsprayed. Rates were based on a dilute application of 400 gal/acre. Twenty leaves were collected from experimental trees at 4, 8, 15, and 22 DAT. Five fourth and fifth instars were exposed to residues on treated leaves for 48 h and then evaluated.
