A randomized complete block design in a blueberry patch near Rogers, AR was selected. Each plot was composed of 4 rows with 5 bushes in each row (20 bushes) and was replicated 3 times. Materials were applied on 9 and 19 May with a tractor-mounted “vertical boom” type sprayer at ca. 25 GPA. The grower applied Carbaryl and Mesurol on 28 May. Evaluation (3-5 Jun) consisted of examining all berries (>100 per bush) on 10 bushes in each treated and untreated plot for internal and external feeding damage.
