Carbofiiran (Furdan 15G) was applied at 10 g (1.5 g AI) per seedling to alternate rows of Fraser fir (2/1) transplants in a Christmas tree production area near Lysander, NY. Granules were placed at the base of each tree arc! covered with 1-2 cm of mineral soil on 4 May '84. Trees were watered only by rainfall.
