Plots were located near Greenbush, Roseau county, MN. Plot size was 4 rows × 35 ft long. Treatments were replicated 4 times and arranged in a randomized complete block design. Insecticide application was made 10 Jul using a handheld CO2 sprayer with flat fan nozzles held approximated 18-24 inches above the crop. The application pressure was 40 psi using about 20 gal total material per acre. Live larval counts were made on 10 plants at 24 h pre and posttreatment and 120 h posttreatment.
