‘Large Red Cherry’ peppers were transplanted 7 Jun, near Benson, NC. Single row plots 10 ft long on 60 in centers were arranged in a randomized complete block design replicated 4 times. Applications were made using a C02 pressurized backpack sprayer with a single hollow cone nozzle delivering 54 gal/acre at 60 psi. Fruit was harvested and plants were artificially infested with 2 European corn borer egg masses per plant on 30 Jul. Treatments were applied 2, 9, and 16 Aug. Fruit was harvested and the % of infested fruit recorded on 13 and 22 Aug.
