Treatments were applied to a mixed population of leafhoppers in a randomized block design consisting of 3 vine plots replicated 4 times per treatment. One application was made on 19 Jul ’84 with an orchard handgun operated at 200 lb/in2 delivering 400 gal/acre to 5-year-old vines. Evaluations were made by counting the number of leafhopper nymphs per 10 leaves for each plot.
