The relatively poor survival rate of human biopsied cleavage stage embryos following cryopreservation is a significant obstacle in the application of preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD). We have attempted to improve cryosurvival of biopsied embryos by modifying the standard embryo cryopreservation technique.
