Preoperative moderate or greater truncal valve (TV) insufficiency is one of the most important factors influencing mortality in children with truncus arteriosus. We therefore sought to determine the impact of TV insufficiency and concomitant TV surgery on children who underwent truncus arteriosus repair at a single institution.
