Part 1 of this paper (Forrington (1966)) described the facilities of an application-oriented computer approach to inventory control problems. Part 2 describes the method of implementation on Atlas and our experience in using the system. It assumes familiarity with the contents of Part 1. It goes on to summarize the general approach to inventory control programs based on operational experience with the system.
