Errata

In abstract no. 0543 by J. Konopka et al. entitled "A new liquid stable reagent for the determination of total CO2 in blood serum," l990;36:1068, the first sentence in the second paragraph should read "On COBAS MIRATM, 150 µL of Reagent A (NAD+, PEP, G6P) and 50 µL Reagent B (PEPC, MDH, G6PDH) are mixed in the assay cuvette, resulting in NADH formation within 3 min." A reagent was erroneously identified in the article "Measurement of urinary oxalate and citrate by capillary electrophoresis and indirect ultraviolet absorbance" by R. Holmes, 1995;41:1297-301. The second sentence in the Materials and Methods section should read "Sodium chromate was obtained from Aldrich (Milwaukee, WI) and tetradecyltrimethylammonium bromide (TTAB) from Sigma (St. Louis, MO). In the article by T. Hopkins, R. Advani, and G. Gudmunson entitled "Development and implementation of an expert information system (BRITE) used in technical support of medical diagnostics customers," 1995;41:l333-7, the first paragraph of the introduction should read "At Ciba Corning Diagnostics (CCD; a Chiron business), Norwood, MA, the Technical Assistance Center (TAC) answers >200 000 customer calls per year." In the article by M. Marshall, S. Kales, D. Christiani, and R. Goldman entitled "Are reference intervals for carboxyhemoglobin appropriate? A survey of Boston area laboratories," 1995;41:l434-8, the units of measure in Table 2 are expressed incorrectly. The corrected table follows. [See Pdf for the Table]
