Trials were conducted in a small grove of walnut in Ft. Collins, CO that was heavily infested by a late-season outbreak of American walnut aphid. Treatments involved spraying of individual leaves on 1 Sep with a handpump mister to wet the leaf surfaces. The experimental design was completely randomized with four replications. Evaluation was done four days after treatment (5 Sep) and involved counting all aphids on four center leaflets on each treated leaf.
