Plots were seeded in an on-farm manner on 10 Apr in an RCBD with 4 replicates of 36 X 300 ft per treatment. Three varieties were seeded: Alpowa; Wawawai, with HF resistance; and ID488, with both HF and RWA resistance. Treatments were 0.5 and 1.0 oz (AI)/cwt Gaucho 480 applied as seed treatments to Alpowa and Wawawai. Untreated checks for all 3 varieties were established. RWA was counted on 45 DAE. HF was evaluated on 65 DAE (Feeks Scale 10.5), as percent HF infested tillers. Harvest data was collected on 16 Aug.
