The study was conducted in a commercial snap bean field 5 miles southwest of Anderson, MO. Plants were in full bloom at treatment application. Plot size was 16 ft X 50 ft and 2 non-treated rows separated plots. Insecticides were applied with a bicycle sprayer equipped with 10 Tee Jet 80015 nozzles calibrated to deliver 15.2 gpa at 2.4 mph. Treatments were applied 1 Oct in a RCB design with 4 replications. Dead grasshoppers were counted at 3 DAT by searching the ground under each of the 2 center rows of each plot.
