A field trial was conducted at the Dean Lee Research Station, located near Alexandria (Rapides Parish), Louisiana. Plots were 50 ft long by 4 rows (38-inch row spacing) and arranged in a RCB design with 4 replicates. Insecticides were applied using a CO2-pressurized backpack sprayer calibrated to deliver 15 gpa at 35 psi through TJ8002 flat fan nozzles (2 per row). Insecticide treatments were applied to R5 stage ‘Buckshot 723’ soybeans on 14 Aug. Post-treatment samples (25 sweeps per plot) were taken with a standard 15-inch diam net at 3 and 7 DAT. Slight rainfall occurred during the experimental period (0.69 inch).
