Hybrid Canola seed (Hyola 401) was obtained from Zeneca Seeds, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The seed was divided, a portion of which was coated with Benolin K, Benlate T, and Amaze plus Belate T, a second portion treated with Gaucho 480F by Gustafson, Inc., Piano, Texas, and a final portion retained for planting with granular materials. The trial was located on land just west of Roseau, MN. Plots were 5 ft X 20 ft and planted with a standard plot drill on 13 May. Treatments were arranged in a RCB design, replicated 4 times. Admire 2F foliars were applied in 20 gpa on 21 May. Stands were uneven early in the season.
