A commercial field of wheat containing less than 85% of stems infested at flag leaf but more than 85% at late pre-milk was selected for this trial. Plots were 25 ft × 25 ft in size. Treatments were arranged in a RCBD, replicated 4 times. Application was made using a hand held CO2 sprayer delivering 5 gpa at 40 psi. Twenty-five heads per plot were collected 7 DAT, stored in alcohol, and aphids counted later under a binocular microscope. Yields were combined in a 5 ft × 25 ft swath from the best stand in the plot.
