In the early 1990’s a group of researchers, J. Borwein, P. Borwein, R. Corless, L. Jorgenson, and N. Sinclair, all then affiliated with the Center for Experimental and Constructive Mathematics at Simon Fraser University — as part of a National Telelearning Network — started the Organic Mathematics Project (OMP).
