At the present stage of development of agricultural enterprises, one of the conditions for their successful functioning is information support, which includes the collection and processing of information necessary for making informed management decisions. An automated process control system in livestock complexes fulfills up to 80% of all emerging management planning tasks. The tasks set today already have examples of solutions in the Russian Federation. Farms, the management of which timely and accurately assesses the situation and switches to resource-saving innovative technologies, begin to use the various available capabilities of information technologies. Unfortunately, hundreds of managers are «charged» with ideas of modern technologies, but only dozens dare to start their implementation.
