CaMoO 4 microspheres materials were prepared by hydrothermal synthesis method using CaCl 2 or Ca(NO 3 ) 2 and ammonium molybdate as reaction raw material at 170°C. XRD analysis shows that the product indexed to tetragonal phase of CaMoO 4 . FESEM images exhibit that the product is spherical and the diameter of the microsphere is about 5 μm. PL spectrum indicates that the photoluminescence emissions intensity of CaMoO 4 depended on the morphologies and sizes of the products.
