We study the compactification of the pure spinor superstring down to fourdimensions. We find that the compactified string is described by a conformalinvariant system for both the four dimensional and for the compact sixdimensional variables. The four dimensional sector is found to be invariantunder a non-critical N=2 superconformal transformations.Comment: Reference added and minor correction
