This paper is devoted to the study of non-BPS Dp-branes in the presence ofNS5-branes on transverse R^3xS^1.We will formulate the tachyon effective actionin this background and then we will discuss its properties. Then we will studythe solutions of the equations of motion that describe lower dimensional BPSand non-BPS D-branes.Comment: 15 page
