CHARYBDIS is an event generator which simulates the production and decay ofminiature black holes at hadronic colliders as might be possible in certainextra dimension models. It interfaces via the Les Houches accord to generalpurpose Monte Carlo programs like HERWIG and PYTHIA which then perform theparton evolution and hadronization. The event generator includes theextra-dimensional `grey-body' effects as well as the change in the temperatureof the black hole as the decay progresses. Various options for modelling thePlanck-scale terminal decay are provided.
