We present the two-loop pure gauge contribution to the gluon-gluon scatteringamplitude with maximal helicity violation. Our construction of the amplitudedoes not rely directly on Feynman diagrams, but instead uses its analyticproperties in 4 - 2 epsilon dimensions.
