We make a comparison between our quenched-hadron-spectroscopy results for thenon-perturbatively-improved Wilson action and the corresponding unimprovedcase, at beta=6.2 on the same set of gauge configurations. Within ourstatistics, we find a sizeable improvement for the baryon spectrum and for thedetermination of the strange-quark mass.Comment: 8 pages, including 3 postscript figures; CERN-TH/98-110 preprin
