Metallic catalysts have presented high activity for the degradation of pollutants. However, the inevitable metal leaching would lead to secondary pollution, which hinders the development of metallic catalysts for water treatment. Membrane technology would be an effective way to conquer this, especially hollow fibre membrane with numerous micro-pores and high surface area per unit volume. The good recoverability and stable repeatability proved that the ceramic hollow fibre membrane would be a promising form of metallic catalysts for aqueous phase reaction.
