Reactivation of polyoma BK virus (BKV) infection is consistently associated with hemorrhagic cystitis in persons who undergo hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). In this study, we examined the relationship of reactivation of BKV infection with pre-HSCT serologic findings of BKV antibody.
