A 78-year-old black man with end-stage renal disease who had a history of alcohol abuse and chronic pancreatitis presented with a 5-week history of diarrhea and mild right upper quadrant fullness. In 1998, he had undergone a lateral side-toside pancreaticojejunostomy (Puestow procedure) because of a pancreatic pseudocyst.
