(Abridged) We present deep, Chandra spectral imaging of the dwarf starburstgalaxy NGC 1569. The unprecedented spatial resolution allows us to spatiallyidentify the components of the integrated \x spectrum. Fitted spectral modelsrequire an intrinsic absorption component and higher metal abundances thanprevious studies indicated. Our results provide the first direct evidence formetal-enriched winds from dwarf starburst galaxies.Comment: 44 pages and 22 figures.
