HSTphot, a photometry package designed to handle the undersampled PSFs foundin WFPC2 images, is introduced and described, as well as some of theconsiderations that have to be made in order to obtain accurate PSF-fittingstellar photometry with WFPC2 data. Tests of HSTphot's internal reliability aremade using multiple observations of the same field, and tests of externalreliability are made by comparing with DoPHOT reductions of the same data.Comment: 33 pages, 7 figures Accepted for publication in October 2000 PAS
