We present a formalism for analyzing interferometric observations of CosmicMicrowave Background (CMB) anisotropy and polarization data. The formalism isbased upon the ell-space expansion of the angular power spectrum favoured inrecent years. Explicit discussions of maximum likelihood analysis, powerspectrum reconstruction, parameter estimation, imaging and polarization aregiven. As an example, several calculations for the Degree Angular ScaleInterferometer (DASI) and Cosmic Background Interferometer (CBI) experimentsare presented.Comment: 25 pages, 5 figures, minor changes to reflect final version accepted by Ap
