Five plates from the Sandage two-color survey of the Galactic plane have been examined, yielding 161 UV-bright sources and one potential new planetary nebula. The plates were obtained using the Palomar 48 inch (1.2 m) Oschin Schmidt telescope, and each covers a field of view of 43 deg 2 . The plates were centered at the Galactic longitude (l) and latitude (b) coordinates (13 .1, 0), (104 .1, 0), (128, 0), (179, 0), and (179, 6).
