Extensive three-dimensional wave packet calculations of the photodissociation dynamics of NeBr2 were considered, corresponding to a B←X transition. The calculations were split into two separated runs, one corresponding to the bound region of the Br2(B) state and the second to its continuum part. Results on the recombination of Br2 were compared with the related system ArI2.This work has been supported by DGICYT (Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia, Spain) under Grant No. PB95-0071, and by the European TMR network Contract No. HPRN-CT-1999-0005.Peer Reviewe
