Heparin coating of stents is thought to reduce stent thrombosis and restenosis rates. However, clinical data comparing coated and uncoated stents of the same model are lacking. We compared the heparin coated (C) and the uncoated (U) version of the Jostent stent with regard to the clinical and angiographic outcome after 6 months.
