Photometric observations of the Herbig Ae star HD 104237 confirm that it is a δ Scuti star. We find two periods, the highest amplitude one having a value of 43 min. This is only the fourth known pre‐main‐sequence δ Scuti star, and the only one with such short periods. These imply high‐overtone modes which have not yet been investigated theoretically. Two of our comparison stars, HD 104036 and 105234, are newly discovered δ Scuti stars.
