Well, the Biochemical Society is 100 years old this year. This event is being celebrated in a variety of ways, as outlined by the Chair, Colin Kleanthous, in his article in the December 2010 issue of The Biochemist1. A significant birthday like 100 certainly invites members, or at least those of us old enough to remember to our 75th Jubilee year in 1986, to reflect on how the Society has changed over the years.
