In early 2007 the Monsanto Fund (www.monsantofund.org) first awarded the Biochemical Society a grant to develop a range of science education initiatives for UK schools under the banner of ‘SciberBrain’. Monsanto have continued to provide their support ever since and, in June 2010, we were delighted to discover that our request for a subsequent year of funding was successful, allowing the project to continue and develop throughout 2011.
