History tells us that there have been many famous women biochemists over the years, from those that have won the Nobel Prize to those who have been written out of the history books altogether. This article looks at the current situation through the eyes of the Biochemical Society and outlines some of the actions that the Society is taking in an attempt to address this important issue.
