The last 12 months have been a period of change, exciting new ventures and consolidation of activities on the education front. The new Education Committee has demonstrated the value of its breadth of membership and support in the programme of work undertaken. The Society works closely with sister societies within the BioSciences Federation to promote the life sciences generally, and in addition organizes a full programme to cover biochemical education, from schools through to postdoctoral research and teaching, and engaging with the public.
