Meetings in 2003: a year in review

This has been a transitional year in which we have seen the last of the Main Meetings and the inauguration of the Focus meetings. The Meetings Co-ordinator, Ian Dransfield, has worked with great determination and imagination to produce a series of meetings on a wide range of topics. These events have all been very successful and his efforts are greatly appreciated. It is important to record the Society's thanks to the organizers of these meetings. Their submission of topics and subsequent efforts have greatly assisted the success of this programme during the year from November 2002 through to the end of October 2003.
