Anyone who was anyone was at ‘Digestive Diseases Week’ at the Moscone Centre, San Francisco, from 19–22 May 2002. Stuart Wood (Liverpool) wanted to go so much that he applied for a Biochemical Society Travel Grant to attend. The grant paid for Stuart's air fare.
