The Os(VI) nitrido complex, TpOs(N)Cl2 (1), acts as a π-acid ligand in the cobalt and platinum complexes CpCo[NOs(Tp)Cl2]2 (2) and (Me2S)Cl2Pt–NOs(Tp)Cl2 (3).
