There is still time to register your team for the Trash Trek season. Click here to go to the FLL team registration site, and here for Jr.FLL. Don't wait too long – FIRST will only register teams up to their maximum capacity. As long as registration is still open, it's not too late to register. Whether you start team meetings in May or September, it good practice to set realistic goals based on your team's experience and skill level. Goals should focus on what you want to learn and be able to do. Is there a particular mission that your team really wants to program? If you don't have a lot of time for the project, start with what you already know and build on your knowledge. It is important to remember that Regional events are not about winning, but rather celebrating your achievements, no matter how small. Focus on what you are able to get done, not on where you are in relation to other teams. The Meet the Experts Expo will be on October 3 from 9a-11a on ISU's campus. Get a chance to talk to professionals who have experience in this year's Challenge All Jr.FLL and FLL teams in Iowa are welcome to attend. Click here to register.
