Mandevilla dardanoi M. F. Sales, Kinoshita-Gouvea y A. Simoes (Apocynaceae), species previously known only from Pernambuco State, Brazil, is reported here for the first time for Paraiba State; in both, it was registered on granite rocky outcrops, above 600 m on the Borborema Plateau. The identification was based on the literature, including the protologue, and examination of type specimens. This work includes description, images of the taxon, habitat, phenology, its current geographical distribution and a key for the identification of the species of Mandevilla found in Paraiba State.
