The dynamic economic situation in the country and the world supports a high demand for training services. Their provision requires more and more advanced IT support. The purpose of this article is standardisation of the assumptions for the design of an IT system intended for managing business processes present within the framework of training implementation undertakings, including those carried out in the e-learning mode. It is assumed that the pre-project, conceptual modelling of business processes and operations necessary for the organization, running and settlement of training, developed by the authors, shall provide the designers with the revised domain knowledge and by this it will increase the quality of the proposed IT system supporting the functioning of a company providing training services. Also, it will increase the economic viability of the training projects managed via such a system.
