In congested cities where the commuting time doubles during peak hours, it is crucial to identify every network problem. While it is costly to implement classic sensor technologies all around the network, the trajectory data of GPS equipped bus fleet can be used for analyzing the traffic. In this study, we suggest a brief methodology to implement bus trajectory data analysis to investigate the congestion on the selected network under peak and off-peak hours in relation with the lane-drops and the speeds of the buses below a threshold value of 5.9 km/hr. The bottlenecks in the study network are identified along the bus route considering the locations and the time of the day.
